Volunteers will prepare and file simple, electronic, federal, state and local tax returns for people age 60 and over with moderate to low income. Assistance is available on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00 – 11:30 AM at the Office for Aging, and on Monday mornings from 8:00 – 11:30 AM at Cross Keys Village, The Brethren Home in New Oxford. Designed for people who are new to Medicare or considering retirement. Staff and volunteer speakers will present a program covering the following topics: benefits provided under original Medicare, Medicare Supplemental Insurance and Medicare Advantage Plan coverage options, Medicare prescription drug coverage choices, and programs for people with limited income. March 7 through April 25, 2018, Danza Antiqua dance professionals will present “Steppin’ Out in Time” – a program showcasing current events, music and dances for each decade from the 1900’s to the 1970’s.
