This is a social casework providing a full range of social services in the field of aging services. The work involves the employment of casework skills in obtaining essential information, counseling clients and family members, and aiding them to utilize all available resources. The work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures.
Protective services involves crisis intervention to consumers who are victims or potential victims of abuse, neglect or exploitation, or who are a danger to themselves or others.
Minimum Experience and Training:
Master’s degree in human services and one year of experience performing assessments
or
Bachelor’s degree in human services and two year of experience performing assessments
or
Associate’s degree in human services and four years of case management experience including two years performing assessments
or
Six years of case management experience, including two years performing assessments; supplemented by successful completion of 12 credit hours in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other related behavioral sciences.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
